It would be difficult to find a builder that provides the type of
hands-on attention that comes from working with James M. Krantz
Construction Corporation.
It started nearly forty years ago, when James M. Krantz, or “Jim Sr.”,
started in the industry by pouring concrete and laying blocks in
Michigan for his family’s business. Deciding to branch out on his own,
he began his own company at the age of 21. After moving to Florida in
1979, he worked as a field supervisor on the now infamous Spaceship
Earth located at EPCOT which included the main entrance and monorail
station. Subsequently, he took on the role of project manager for a
local company so that he could get the feel for the industry in Florida,
and thus became incorporated in 1984.
It was then that he began teaching his son, Roland “Jim” each trade,
step by step. Roland has now stepped into the role of Vice President,
overseeing the company’s daily operations and project management.
Both of these men have made it a priority to stay on top of the industry
by becoming active participants in the Remodelors Council and are
Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists (CAPS), Florida Green Home
Certifying Agents and New Homes Energy Star Partners. They are also
actively involved with the National Association of Home Builders, the
Florida Home Builders Association and the Home Builders Association of
Metro Orlando, with Roland serving on the Board of Directors of two of
the Associations.
These days you’ll find both Jim Sr. and Roland on the jobsite daily,
making sure that each trade is working efficiently and expeditiously on
the project at-hand.
In addition to their hard-working efforts in business, the Krantz team
has made it a priority to serve their community as well. Both men have
traveled extensively to West Africa and China in order to build
charitable training centers and have also focused their energies within
their own backyards, by building church and community playgrounds and
volunteering their time and services at local high schools.
The team at Krantz Construction has set a personal goal to do its best
to use the 2007 New Southern Home as a tool to educate builders,
laypeople and the general public on the various components and details
that go into building a home.
Krantz Construction has built and maintained an outstanding reputation
for quality construction for forty years. This father-son team is known
for their dedicated, hands-on approach to each and every project, from a
simple renovation to multi-million dollar ground-up development. Clients
are consistently impressed with the personal attention paid to every
detail. Job signs can be found with the quote “Quality only happens when
you care enough to do your very best”. Each and every client is given as
much time as it takes to deliver an outstanding product, and it’s no
surprise that much of their business comes from referrals.
At the end of the day it’s refreshing to know that there are companies
such as Krantz Construction out there that are still committed to
quality over quantity, and clients can rest assured that they are in
capable, trustworthy hands. |
